Heat Treatment

Comparison with Other Grades

Q245R vs. Q345R: Q345R has higher strength (345 MPa yield strength) due to added microalloying elements.

Q245R vs. SA516 Gr.60/70: Similar applications, but SA516 (ASTM standard) has stricter impact requirements.

Welding & Fabrication
