Deliver 140 Tons of Q355B Steel Coils to Client in Pakistan

Yuxin Steel had successfully delivered 140 metric tons of Q355B steel coils to the Pakistan client in accordance with the order contract.

On April 2, 2025, the shipment of 140 tons of Q355B steel coils custom-ordered by a Pakistani client was successfully loaded and delivered at Tianjin Port, marking the complete fulfillment of the cross-border order in accordance with the contract. This batch of high-quality steel coils will set sail from Tianjin Port, arrive at Karachi Port in Pakistan via sea freight, and ultimately be utilized in local infrastructure construction projects, contributing further to China-Pakistan economic and trade cooperation as well as infrastructure connectivity.

It is reported that the delivered 140 tons of Q355B steel coils were tailored by Yuxin Steel specifically to meet the requirements of the Pakistani client. The production strictly adhered to the GB/T 1591-2018 national standard and the client's additional technical specifications. A comprehensive quality traceability system was established throughout the entire process, from raw material selection and production process control to finished product inspection and acceptance. By precisely controlling the content of core elements such as carbon and manganese and optimizing the thermo-mechanical controlled processing (TMCP) and controlled cooling processes, the stable compliance of the product's mechanical properties was ensured. Finally, verified by a third-party testing agency, all key indicators of the steel coils, including yield strength, tensile strength, and impact toughness, met the contractual requirements, achieving a qualification rate of 100%.

Pakistan is an important partner for us in the South Asian market. To ensure the smooth delivery of this order, we established a professional logistics support team. We proactively coordinated with relevant departments such as the port and customs, efficiently completed procedures like customs declaration and inspection, ensuring the timely shipment of the goods. The delivered Q355B steel, as a typical representative of low-alloy high-strength structural steel, possesses excellent comprehensive performance. Its core characteristics and application areas are as follows:


Core Characteristics:

1. Excellent Strength Performance: Yield strength ≥355 MPa, tensile strength between 470-630 MPa. It can effectively withstand heavy loads and impact loads, significantly enhancing structural load-bearing capacity compared to ordinary steel.

2. Good Toughness and Impact Resistance: As Grade B steel, it can pass the impact toughness test at 20°C, with impact absorbed energy ≥27 J. It is less prone to brittle fracture under complex working conditions, offering a wider range of applications.

3. Outstanding Weldability and Processability: Its low carbon equivalent design reduces welding difficulty, making it compatible with various welding processes. It also exhibits good characteristics for cold bending, cutting, drilling, and other processing operations, meeting the fabrication needs of different structural components.

4. Strong Corrosion Resistance and Stability: Through precise control of impurity content (e.g., phosphorus and sulfur, both ≤0.035%) and optimization with micro-alloying elements, it maintains good performance in atmospheric, humid, and other environments, extending its service life.


Application Areas:

Q355B steel plate has a wide range of application scenarios, primarily covering four major fields:

1. Construction Engineering: Commonly used in high-rise building frames, large factory building beams and columns, bridge load-bearing structures, etc. It ensures building stability and seismic resistance, serving as one of the core materials for major infrastructure projects.

2. Machinery Manufacturing: Can be used to produce key components such as heavy machinery booms, engineering vehicle chassis, and pressure vessels. Its high strength and toughness meet the usage requirements under harsh working conditions.

3. Energy and Transportation: Suitable for applications like ultra-high voltage transmission tower frames, wind turbine tower reinforcement components, railway vehicle frames, etc. It meets durability requirements in outdoor and complex environments.

4. Shipbuilding and Chemical Industries: Can be used to fabricate ship hull frameworks, deck components, chemical storage tanks, and conveying pipelines. Its corrosion resistance and weldability match the special requirements of marine and chemical environments.
