This project involves the bulk export of medium and heavy steel plates compliant with the ASTM A516/A516M Gr.70 standard for pressure vessel use to a major energy and chemical equipment manufacturing company in Sindh, Pakistan (hereinafter referred to as the "Pakistani Client"). The plates are intended for the fabrication of key pressure vessels in a natural gas processing plant being constructed by the client.

With the deepening advancement of energy infrastructure projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), Pakistan's demand for power station boilers, petrochemical equipment, and natural gas storage and processing facilities has surged dramatically. The Pakistani Client, as a leading engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and manufacturing enterprise in the country, has successfully secured multiple large-scale domestic energy projects.

Against this backdrop, the Pakistani Client faced challenges including unstable supply, long lead times, and high costs for high-end pressure vessel steel plates from local and traditional import markets. To ensure project timelines and compliance with international standards (particularly ASME codes), they began seeking reliable, high-quality, and competitive steel plate suppliers globally, with a specific focus on China. Our company, leveraging our leading position in China's pressure vessel steel market, mature export experience, and a successful track record of cooperation with several large state-owned enterprises, came to the client's attention. After preliminary contact, both parties recognized significant cooperative potential for mutual benefit and complementary strengths.

1. Strict Material Standard Compliance: The steel plates must fully conform to the ASTM A516/A516M Grade 70 standard and be accompanied by internationally recognized third-party certificates (e.g., from BV, SGS, or TÜV) covering chemical composition, mechanical properties (tensile strength, impact toughness, etc.), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT).

2. Exceptional Physical Quality and Performance: Particular emphasis was placed on consistently excellent Charpy V-Notch Impact Toughness at both ambient and low temperatures to meet the safety requirements of pressure vessels under complex operating conditions. Uniform internal quality, a smooth surface, and freedom from defects were also required.

3. Precise Dimensions and Machinability: Tolerances for plate dimensions (thickness, width, length) must be strictly controlled to meet their requirements for automated cutting and welding processes. Some plates required non-destructive testing with corresponding reports.

4. Reliable Delivery and Logistics Assurance: Clear and predictable delivery schedules were required, along with the ability to arrange door-to-port or door-to-door logistics from Chinese ports to the Port of Karachi, Pakistan, including handling all customs clearance documentation (e.g., Certificate of Origin, Packing List, Commercial Invoice, Bill of Lading).

Flexible Supply: Provided partial shipments based on the client's project schedule to alleviate their storage and cash flow pressure.

Dedicated Logistics Channel: Utilized our established shipping routes to Pakistan to arrange fixed sailing schedules, offering a complete logistics package from factory pickup and domestic transport in China to export customs declaration, international ocean freight, and assistance with destination port clearance.

Documentation Support: Efficiently prepared a full set of customs clearance documents compliant with Pakistani requirements, including Commercial Invoice, Certificate of Origin (FORM-P or General CO), Weight List, Quality Certificate, Packing List, and Bill of Lading.
