GB713 Q345R is a Chinese standard boiler and pressure vessel steel plate, widely used in the manufacturing of boilers, pressure vessels, and other high-stress equipment.

Material Grade: Q345R

"Q" stands for yield strength.

"345" indicates the minimum yield strength (345 MPa at room temperature).

"R" stands for "pressure vessel".



2. Heat Treatment & Processing

Hot-rolled or normalized (improves microstructure and impact toughness).

Post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) often required for thick plates to relieve stresses.

Q245R: Lower strength (245 MPa yield), used for less demanding applications.
