GB/T 6653 HP265 is a Chinese national standard for high-quality steel plates and strips used in the manufacture of welded steel cylinders for low-pressure liquefied gases such as liquefied petroleum gas, propane, and butane, as well as dissolved acetylene gas. It is a specialized material produced to ensure the safety of gas cylinders, offering excellent strength, plasticity, and weldability. It is the basic grade steel plates and strips for welded gas cylinders in the GB/T 6653 standard.

HP265 steel plate and strip is specifically used for manufacturing refillable low pressure welded cylinders.

1. Industrial commonly used low-pressure welding cylinders: such as carbon dioxide cylinders, acetylene cylinders, oxygen cylinders

2. Liquefied petroleum gas cylinders: such as household gas tanks

3. Other similar low-pressure welding gas cylinders.
