Performance Characteristics
1. Excellent low-temperature toughness: It can maintain high impact energy even at -50℃ or lower temperatures, with strong resistance to brittle fracture. This ensures safe use under low-temperature conditions, making it suitable for extreme low-temperature environments such as polar regions or deep seas.
2. Good welding performance: The carbon equivalent is strictly controlled, and preheating before welding may not be required (depending on the thickness). Various welding methods such as manual arc welding, submerged arc welding, and gas shielded welding can be adopted, and the performance of the welded joint is good.
3. Good processing performance: The normalized structure is uniform, and it has good cold forming and cutting performance. It can adapt to different shape requirements and can be subjected to processing operations such as cutting, bending, and curling.
4. Corrosion resistance: Alloying elements such as Cr, Ni, and Mo are added to improve its corrosion resistance, enabling it to resist the erosion of chemical substances such as acids, alkalis, and salts to a certain extent.
