LR Grade DH36 Equivalent Materials for Shipbuilding Steel Plates

LR Grade DH36 shipbuilding steel plate is a high-strength hull structural steel certified by Lloyd’s Register (LR) of the United Kingdom; its equivalent materials are primarily Grade DH36 high-strength marine steel plates under other international classification society systems.

Note: In terms of physical and chemical properties, marine steel plates of the same grade (with identical letters and numbers) are considered equivalent across major classification societies. When used for compliance with classification rules, steel plates certified by multiple classification societies may be used interchangeably; if certified by only a single classification society, approval for material substitution must be obtained from the target classification society before use across societies.
