Through vacuum degassing and aluminum microalloying processes, a uniform, fine-grained, and dense ferritic-pearlitic microstructure is achieved, with extremely low levels of inclusions and harmful elements. This microstructure effectively suppresses the initiation and propagation of ultra-low-temperature cracks, maintaining structural toughness under polar ultra-low-temperature conditions, ice load compression, and severe cold shock, thereby preventing brittle fracture. 2. Stable Grade 32 High-Strength Load-Bearing Capacity and Cryogenic Fatigue Resistance
LR EH32 marine steel has a minimum yield strength of 315 MPa and a tensile strength of 450 - 570 MPa. It combines stable structural stiffness with cryogenic fatigue resistance, offering a performance margin significantly superior to that of standard Grade 32 steel grades.

This structure effectively resists cryogenic aging damage, seawater immersion corrosion, and high-salt-fog erosion in polar and subpolar environments, preventing performance degradation caused by the synergistic effects of extreme low temperatures and marine corrosion.
When used in conjunction with a specialized cryogenic marine anti-corrosion coating system, the design service life can reach 40 years, significantly reducing long-term maintenance and replacement costs for projects in extremely cold regions.
