DIN 17102 is a German industrial standard: "Weldable Normalized Fine Grain Structural Steels".Based on the high yield strength, good weldability, and fine-grained structure of the materials specified in this standard, its main applications are concentrated in steel structure engineering projects that require high load-bearing capacity but involve welding: steel structure construction, bridge manufacturing, lifting and transport machinery, pressure vessels and storage tanks, vehicles and construction machinery, offshore structures, power transmission and transformation facilities, etc. This standard has been superseded by the European standard EN 10025-4 (Hot rolled products ofstructural steels - Part 4: Technical delivery conditionsfor thermomechanical rolled weldablefine grain structural steels).

StE500 Structural Steel Plate

StE500 is a low-alloy, high-strength, fine-grained structural steel (material number 1.8907) conforming to the German standard DIN 17102. Its core characteristics are high strength, good low-temperature toughness, and excellent weldability. It is widely used in steel structure engineering ...
