How can one verify that a steel plate complies with the ABS Grade EH36 standard?
Every compliant ABS Grade EH36 steel plate must be accompanied by a Material Test Certificate (MTC) bearing the stamp of an ABS surveyor. In addition, the surface of the steel plate should bear a clear stamp indicating ‘ABS EH36’, the furnace number, the batch number and the classification society mark.
